1. This system as a base was developed by and for the use of Kupo LS. Permission to use it was requested and given.

2. The first step to this system is choosing your job order. Each member may post up to three jobs in their preferred order for obtaining loot on the Job Priority (Gear) thread in the Equipment forum. This will have no bearing on what job is used or requested at events. This forum is purposefully edit locked, requests to change job order must be made to a leader and may not be done so more often than once every four months. When having multiples jobs failure to post job order will equal a forfeit of lotting rights. When having a single job at level 75 it will default to your first priority if not posted, and adding a secondary or tertiary job will count as your once every four month change. The format of @1 @2 @3 is used, wherein @1 is level 75 default, @2 is level 70 default and @3 is level 65 default. When any job listed does not meet the requirements for its default level it will be subject to a priority equal to its level range as follows:

-Jobs @1 and level 75 are considered A class
-Jobs @1 level 70-74 and jobs @2 level 70-75 are considered B class
-Jobs @1 and @2 level 65-69 and jobs @3 level 65-75 are considered C class
-Jobs below level 65 are considered D class regardless of their @

3. Each item defined by the point system is given a job priority which may be viewed in the Job Priority section of the mandate. Defined job priority will be combined with chosen job priority to determine the lotting order for all multi requested items as follows:

3i.
0=A, 1=B, 2=C, 3=D (i.e. Priorities listed as 0 > 1 > 2 > 3)
To determine overall priority, add your job priority to the item's priority.

Examples:

Item is DRK > WAR
Your priority is DRK > SAM
0 + 0 = 0 = A class lot

Item is DRK > WAR
Your priority is SAM > DRK
0 + 1 = 1 = B class lot

Item is DRK > WAR
Your priority is BRD > WAR > SAM
1 + 1 = 2 = C class lot

Item is BLM > WHM > SMN
Your priority is BRD > SMN > SAM
2 + 1 = 3 = D class lot

If the priorities add to a number over 3, it is automatically 3 (Class D).

3ii.
[ 1.00 - ( Smaller Value / Greater Value ) ] = % spread
Shows the actual % spread between two people. Decimals are considered for the rules below.

The following is taken from the perspective of the person with the "Greater Value" (i.e. Greater value is up against Smaller Value).

Class A
Has more priority over Class A: %spread > 15%
Lots against other Class A: 15% >= %spread >= 0

Class B
Has more priority over Class A: %spread > 30%
Lots against Class A: 30% >= %spread >= 15%
Has more priority over Class B: %spread > 15%
Lots against other Class B: 15% >= %spread >= 0%

Class C
Has more priority over Class A: %spread > 45%
Lots against Class A: 45% >= %spread >= 30%
Has more priority over Class B: %spread > 30%
Lots against Class B: 30% >= %spread >= 15%
Has more priority over Class C: %spread > 15%
Lots against other Class C: 15% >= %spread >= 0%

Class D
Has more priority over Class A: %spread > 70%
Lots against Class A: 70% >= %spread >= 55%
Has more priority over Class B: %spread > 55%
Lots against Class B: 55% >= %spread >= 40%
Has more priority over Class C: %spread > 40%
Lots against Class C: 40% >= %spread >= 15%
Has more priority over Class D: %spread > 15%
Lots against other Class D: 15% >= %spread >= 0%

Examples:

Item's priority: PLD > NIN/WAR > DRK
Player 1 - 100pts - PLD > WAR (overall: class A)
Player 2 - 100pts - PLD (overall: class A)
Player 3 - 85pts - PLD (overall: class A)
%spread calculated using Player 1or Player 2 (vs : 15%)
All may cast lots.

Item's priority: PLD > NIN/WAR > DRK
Player 1 - 90pts - PLD > WAR (overall: class A)
Player 2 - 100pts - PLD (overall: class A)
Player 3 - 114pts - PLD (overall: class A)
%spread calculated using Player 3 (vs Player 1: 21.05%, vs Player 2: 12.28%)
Player 2 and Player 3 cast lots. Player 1 does not.

Item's priority: PLD > NIN/WAR > DRK
Player 1 - 200pts - MNK > WAR (overall: class C)
Player 2 - 154pts - BRD > PLD (overall: class B)
Player 3 - 105pts - PLD (overall: class A)
%spread calculated using Player 1 (vs Player 2: 23%, vs Player 3: 47.5%)
Player 1 and Player 2 cast lots. Player 3 does not.
