1. Most sanctioned events are not defined as specifically mandatory. However, certain events require everyone who is online and available to attend (Kirin, Jailer of Love, et al). On these occasions it is expected that if you are online, you will be there. Depending upon circumstances, repeated failure to attend an event when you are online and available (Meaning: You are physically playing the game and not AFK. Leveling in a party is not a valid excuse.) will be grounds reprimand and/or termination. On all other occasions it is expected that you attend a majority of events which you are online and available to attend.
2. Participation in Fate sanctioned events is the single most important factor in determining who is able to lot for items, as well as how much gil you receive on monthly payouts, as described by the points system below. Members should indicate participation in an event by signing up on the respective sign up list for the event at least two hours before the scheduled start time. Failure to sign up with fair warning or at all will exempt one from "on time" point recieval.
3. At the leaders discretion partial participation points may or not be handed out for partial attendance to a single event.
4. From time to time the LS bank will be purged of certain items gained in our various fights, and gil will be distributed amongst the membership based the following formula: member's points total at the point of the last purge - member's current points total. These will be known as net points. This number, if at or below zero, will be considered zero for determining payment. The entire membership's total net points will be added, then put into the following formula: amount of purged gil/total net points, giving a ratio of net points/gil owed. The number gained from this equation will then be multiplied by each member's net points to figure out what each member gains.
Example: Player A had 100 points at the last purge. He has 105 now. 105-100=5 net points.
The total linkshell over this period has 100 net points, and the linkshell has gained 1,000,000g, so 1,000,000g/100 net points = 10,000g/net point a member possesses. Since Player A has 5 net points, 5 * 10,000g is 50,000g, which is his payout.
